1750's Woman's riding jacket

From my V&A costume study series - A camel colored riding jacket c. 1750-60. For some reason this one is a crowd favorite, I've had more people ask me if I could make them something like this jacket. Personally I can't imagine riding a horse in something like this, especially since it was worn over stays (a corset) and a hugely padded and paniered skirt. It is pretty cool though...although Dior really wasn't innovative at all with his "new" look was he?
