I'm still trying to get all of the ancient stuff out of my WIP folder - I started this as an exercise almost 9 months ago, but liked the hair too much to toss it. Problem was I didn't like anything else about it. Seriously, for the longest time it was just this floating hair on a dark background.

Finally fussed with it enough that its postable.

I wish I were bioluminescent. if only because its a fun word.

This would make for an amusingly angsty X-Men mutant of suck. This is her ONLY power. Her hair is bioluminescent. Nothing else. Yet because she's a mutant, the norms still hate her.
I know from experience that any given artist is their own worst critic, but I love this piece. Compositionally it is lovely. For an exercise, I think it came our great.
