This was supposed to just be a linework exercise (and also an excuse to draw a foofy dress) and then all the sudden it turned into srs fanart bzns. I imagine that they would toss off political duties and cut a rug whenever possible.

Also - have discovered clipping masks *IS IN LOVE*.

*EDIT*
A couple people have suggested lovely music to accompany this piece: Shostakovich's Waltz no. 2 or Hisaishi's 'Le Chateau Ambulant' (the theme from Howl's Moving Castle)

The instant I saw this I fell in love as well. I actually ordered myself to put it in my favorites "this moment." You make them look so damn fae it's insane! I can't quite do that with my own art yet...

don't get discouraged! I still have moments where I look at peices I did (not even stuff other people did) and find myself going "how the HELL did I do that? I can't do that! It must have been someone taking over my body! Or magic!".

It's so much time and practice and work, but eventually you'll find yourself making magic happen.
