Muslin Gown c. 1800

This is one of a series of costume studies I did at the V&A in London. this one is a white muslin gown embroidered in cotten thread. The shawl was also period, in a pale yellow silk twill with a brocaded pattern woven at the hems.

All of these are rough sketches I did while in the museum, so they aren't terribly finished, sorry.
