Venitian gown

For all the watchers who have been with me from the beginning and who have probably been rolling their eyes at all the anime fanart for the past couple of years. I still love historic fashion, see!?

My front-lacing Venitian(ish) gown in ribbed silk inspired largely by a whole slew of Giovanni Antonio Fasolo frescoes. I wanted something a little cooler and less restrictive than my Elizabethan (Of which I need new photos, actually, I have 2 or 3 costuming projects that need to be photographed and posted) and of course since I insisted on fully lining both the gown and the petticoats I was dying of heatstroke anyway. Yay Texas.
